In a desperate bid to save his life, his wife and fellow scientist, Evelyn (Rebecca Hall), uploads Will’s consciousness into a quantum computer. The film then shifts from a scientific drama to a techno-thriller as "Digital Will" begins to grow in power and capability, eventually seeking to transcend the boundaries of the screen to affect the physical world.
