For the uninitiated, Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning is a 2018 indie horror game by Micah McGonigal (mystman12). It deliberately mimics the look of a low-budget, 1990s edutainment title (think Sonic’s Schoolhouse ). The premise is simple: solve math problems to collect seven notebooks. However, the third problem on each page is always unsolvable, causing the cheerful but unstable teacher, Baldi, to chase you down with a ruler.
