In the isolated, fictional desert town of Perfection, Nevada, handymen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) are attempting to leave their dead-end lives behind. Their departure is halted when they discover a series of mysterious, gruesome deaths.
