This only works when text is highlighted. The default terminal behavior for Ctrl+C (sending SIGINT to stop a process) remains intact when nothing is selected.

Alt+F4 closes the entire IDE window. It is a painful mistake. If you fat-finger this, PhpStorm will prompt you to save your work, but it is still disruptive. This only works when text is highlighted
